On Thursday of Spring Break, my sister-in-law and I took the boys down to Pt. Manny. Stephen and John were coming down after work on Friday. The usual 5-6 hour trip took around 8 hours. We stopped in nastiest McDonald's ever for lunch and made a run to the local (1 hour away) Walmart in Harlingen before we pulled into the driveway. The boys had a good ride... they watched Baby Einstein the whole way. We hung around the house, went to the boat stall, watched the deer and turkeys, and made a trip to the outlet malls.
