How Does Your Garden Grow?

So the wood shop class at school was selling planter boxes.  We bought one so we could giving gardening a try.  Stephen talked to Brett and ended up buying a book on square foot gardening.  We took the boys to Ma's Nursery one Saturday and loaded up on different plants.  We bought all kinds of peppers, spinach, onions, okra, strawberries and tomatoes.  The boys had a great time helping daddy set up the garden.  We enjoyed lots of veggies over the next few months and look forward to next spring to plant again.

Jeannie and Dan Hinton had an Easter party at their house.  The boys enjoyed roaming around their yard, playing games, and hunting eggs.

The week of Spring Break the Myer's came to stay with us.  We made trips to Armand Bayou Park and Galveston.  We also made a trip to the Houston Rodeo.  It was Cade's first time to go.  The kids had a blast seeing and petting all the animals.  We didn't have concert tickets, but the arena area kept us busy for a long while.
