Cade's First Major Milestone

While we were taking down the Christmas tree, I glanced over at Cade who was laying on the floor and he was on his back.  He had rolled over.  This is a little sooner than his big brother and I missed it even though I was right there.

So we did our usual rounds for both Christmas and Christmas Eve.  We attended the 5:30 church service, then mom's, then GiGi and Granddad's house.  It is so hard to make everyone happy, but it is still better than having to split time in different cities/states.  On Christmas Day we went to Mammie and Paps house, then DaDa and Nonnie's, then back to Mammie's for dinner.

Cole and Jake finally graced the stage this year at their Preschool Christmas Concert.  Last year, the class sat in the buggy and rang bells.  Cole really enjoyed being in the spotlight.  I guess he gets that from his mom. :)

Birthday Cake for Jesus

Nonnie, Cole and Mommy decided to make a regular sugar cookies and a birthday cake for Jesus this year instead of shaped cookies.  Cole had a great time making a huge mess and eating all the batter.

Christmas Card Pics- 2012

So mom took our Christmas card pictures this year.  We went to our same spot in old LP.  It was slightly more difficult this year due to Cade.  Between the two boys, it was hard to get one with everyone looking at the camera.  Here are a few that made the card.

The Adventures of Chippy the Elf

So we decided that this was the year to begin The Elf on the Shelf.  So our Elf, later named Chippy, came to visit us in early December.  He decided to fly in via Cole's helicopter.

Shortly after Chippy's arrival, Cole decided to name his elf, Chippy.  We found out with in  a day that that was the name of the elf from the movie...odd.  Here are most of the funny things that Chippy did while he was here with us.
