So we finally got it all together and took little man to get his picture taken. I had looked online for several weeks to find a photographer and never really found one that I liked. I had several recommendations, but had a hard time getting a hold of them. I am not a big fan of using someone that doesn't get back with you in a timely manner. We ended up at Portrait Innovations. They did a great job. The best thing was that if you spent enough money, you got a CD. Cole did great. He was a little more solemn than normal (of course he was his smiley self at lunch and all afternoon.) Here are some pics from the shoot.
Stephen and I both grew up in Pasadena, TX and now reside in LaPorte. We met in the 3rd grade at Teague Elementary, were boyfriend/girlfriend in 5th grade and we finally began dating (for real) in the fall of 2000. We were engaged in April of 2002 and married on June 28, 2003. On November 12, 2009, God blessed us with a beautiful baby boy, Cole Thomas. We found out we were expecting our second son on New Year's Eve 2011. Cade Ross was born on Septemember 8, 2012.

We have a winner...
FYI: The overnight Pampers Baby Dry 12 hour diaper seems to be working. We are two nights in and no middle of the night diaper change. I hope I don't jinx myself. :)

Kindermusic and a Park Fieldtrip
We had a big day of firsts. This morning was Kindermusic class at church. Cole really enjoyed the singing. It was quite different for me to be in a room full of little ones. Cole is so chill. He rarely makes a peep. I know he probably wondered where the heck I had taken him. There was so much screaming, laughing, crying, crawling, and running going on. After lunch I decided to take Cole to the park. He fell asleep within the first five minutes. Here is a picture of him in the stroller ready to go. He looks thrilled, huh?
Lullaby and Goodnight
Cole slept 8.5 hours both Saturday and Sunday night. He needed a diaper change last night at 3:00 a.m., but he went right back to bed. I picked up some overnight diapers in his size today. I'm hoping that one will last us through the night. (Not sure why he doesn't like to sleep in his pee...haha)I'll let you know if it works out. Any tips will be appreciated. :)

Let's Get Physical
Every morning Cole plays on his activity mat while mommy makes her breakfast. After mommy finishes eating, Cole does his workout. Cole is not a huge fan of tummy time unless he is laying on your chest napping. Here is a picture of big boy holding up his head. (Pardon the bed head. We hadn't combed our four hairs yet.)

2 Month Checkup
Wednesday we went to the Pedi for our 2 month checkup. Cole didn't have a clue about what was going to happen. He was kicking around and wiggling like a worm. (We left the house before he had his morning playtime.) Dad held him and mom turned her head shortly after the nurse pulled out the monster needle. Cole really did quite well. He scream three times and even the nurse commented on how quiet his cry was.
Stats for the checkup
23.5 inches 51 percentile
10 lbs. 9 oz. 11 percentile

Happy New Year
This was the first year that we had a "family" party for New Year's. We went to John and Stacie's house to ring in the new decade. There were four families total. Three with boys ranging in ages from 6 weeks to 2 years, and one family with a little boy on the way. John grilled steaks and we watched football and a movie. By 11:00 p.m. we were all packing up and heading home. We rang in the new year at home. I was pumping and Stephen was feeding Cole a bottle and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Here is a picture of Cole in his party gear.
